ഫ്രൈ ഡിസ്ക്

ചില പ്രധാന ഡോക്യുമെന്‍റുകളും ഫോട്ടോകളും ആഴ്ചയിലൊരിക്കലെങ്കിലും കോപ്പിചെയ്തു വയ്ക്കുക എന്നത് എന്‍റെ ഒരു ശീലമായിപ്പോയി. xcopy ആണ് ഞാന്‍ സാധാരണ ഉപയോഗിക്കുക. xcopy യുടെ commandline options ഓര്‍ത്തുവയ്ക്കുക ശ്രമകരമായിരുന്നു. ഓരോ തവണയും ഹെല്പ് നോക്കിയാണ് ഇതു ചെയ്തു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നത്.

ഈ options ആണ് ഞാന്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കാറുള്ളത്:

xcopy

• /C = Continues copying even if errors occur.


• /D (with no date) = Copies files changed on or after the specified date. If no date is given, copies only those files whose source time is newer than the destination time.


• /F = Displays full source and destination file names while copying.


• /I = If destination does not exist and copying more than one file, assumes that destination must be a directory.


• /R = Overwrites read-only files.


• /S (with no date) = Copies files changed on or after the specified date. If no date is given, copies only those files whose source time is newer than the destination time.


• /Y = Suppresses prompting to confirm you want to overwrite an existing destination file.
